Shipping Policy
Returns of NEW merchandise:
Purchases are eligible for refund up to 30 days from PURCHASE date listed on the customer’s sales receipt. To be eligible for refund items must be unused and in original, undamaged packaging.
In store credit MAY be granted up to 45 days from PURCHASE date listed on customer’s sales receipt.
Items that are damaged, heavily used, have ripped, torn or missing packaging will be subject to a restocking charge or no issued refund. All refunds are subject to evaluation for eligibility before processing. If we cannot represent the item as new, we cannot resell it as new therefore a “in full” refund will not be granted.
Returns must have a copy of the purchase receipt included. If we cannot verify the owner of the equipment, we cannot process a return.
If items are in a used or ineligible condition they will be sent back at the expense of the customer or held in will call for up to 90 days before claimed by Lighthouse Diving Center Inc. as abandoned.
Sales of items represented and sold as closeout, pre-owned, DEMO, factory second, discontinued or damaged packaging are final.
Shipping expenses are not eligible for refund or credit even if the original order qualified for free shipping.
Returns of USED merchandise:
Serviced Used items are guaranteed by our service department for up to 90 days. Serviced used items are not eligible for refund but are eligible for store credit or exchange. If the exchanged item is a lower price than the original purchase the balance remaining will be transferred into store credit.
Gear Condition Guidelines:
To be eligible for refund or credit all pieces must be present. (Examples: BCDs must have both weight pockets and inflator hose, regulators must have all port plugs, gloves or boots must have both left and right, etc.)
All open cell/smoothskin wetsuits/ accessory sales are final. If you choose to send the suit back for size exchange, the exchange can be denied if the open cell rubber is damaged or destroyed.
Items cannot be damaged, ripped, torn, broken, scratched, gouged or marred.
Unwashed suits or suits that are sent covered in lubricant or are still wet will be subject to cleaning charges before exchanges or refunds are granted.
If suits show obvious signs of chlorine exposure and appear faded they will not be eligible for refund or exchange.
Please be courteous to our staff and send merchandise that is CLEAN and ready to be resold. If wetsuits are suspected to have been obviously exposed urine, upon arrival they will be discarded immediately and no recourse will be available.
Lights, camera equipment and computers that are flooded are subject to evaluation and testing. If it is determined that the failure was caused by user error no refund will be issued.
All scuba equipment is subject to evaluation and testing before refunds are issued even if in a condition that appears unused.
